Ammish is back with news from Soweto!
Right at the end of November Santa Clause came to town. Fortunately we could win Santa Shoebox this year to partner with us and give out more than 700 shoeboxes – packed full of little presents – to our children. You should have seen those big, big smiles 🙂 . Santa Shoebox Project collects donations from families that are better off, who pack their gifts in small shoeboxes addressed to a specific child. All kids on our registers were so lucky to get their personal box. Now all the kids are busy unpacking their presents and can’t wait to know what is hidden inside. Hopefully we’ll get the chance to spread the same joy next year!
